  The Dairy Building with the PK of the Milky Way butterheads, the Gopher Dairy Bar (mix chocolate with strawberry), 4-H State Arts-In, and the 1:00 parade!

  North Fork Munster. It’s gooey, stinky and washed in whiskey.

  I wanted to be a meteorologist until I learned how much math it took…

  I love to travel. Gardener by genetics (born to be in the dirt). I teach science to 4/5th grades at BBE.

  I love all things art! I've been the creamery's illustrator for a year now and my cow drawings have really evolved. I love working with Alise on all of our creative projects!

  Cartoonist or singer! I’m still waiting for one to come true to fruition.

• Tell us about yourself!
  I grew up on a dairy farm in brown county and went to college at the University of Minnesota for both animal science and food science to pursue my passion of making delicious dairy products.
• What is your favorite meal of all time? Extra points is cheese is involved!
  Ribeye steak topped with melted blue cheese, a side of pan roasted garlic potatoes, and fresh steamed green beans.

  Lots, at least once a week.

  To work with dairy cows in some capacity.

  I was born and raised in Brooten.

  My Aunt Donna would bring fresh cheese curds from Elgin Creamery to Christmas. I'll never forget  the first time I heard cheese squeak.

  I cut cheese every week for when I make Pimento.

  Garlic Cheddar: perfect flavor and melty goodness for pizza, grilled cheese, mac n’ cheese, cheesy potatoes, and everything else!

  when I was a kid I wanted to be a singer cuz I was obsessed with Hannah Montana

  I can whistle but not very great

  I love seeing musicals live. It makes my heart happy!
• Where were you and what were you doing when you first ate non-american processed cheese?
  Norway: when eating waffles you take slices of Brunost (or brown cheese) and put it on the waffles.
• What is your favorite meal of all time? Extra points if cheese is involved!
  Homemade meatballs and stuffed shells. It was my grandma Katie’s specialty, but now I make it. It is similar to lasagna, but just a different form.

  Jesse Bear What Will You Wear? I read it to my kindergarten class, so I practiced a lot!
• What is your favorite booth at the Minnesota State Fair?
  I hope I don’t lose my MN card because of this, but I don’t enjoy the State Fair. Too many people and too hot.

  St. Anthony! I don’t know why, you will have to ask my tastebuds.
• What job did you want as a kid?
  I had a number of them, but all of them revolved around helping: doctor, veterinarian, zoo keeper, or teacher!
• Can you whistle? If so, what’s your favorite song?Yes! I always have some sort of song in my head. Most of the time it’s a soundtrack, musical, or jingle (the worst to get in my opinion).

  I like to have fun!

  ½ pound cheeseburger with pepperjack cheese, cheese sauce, lettuce, and tomato with a side of fried cheese curds with cheese dipping sauce.

  North Fork Whisky Washed Munster. It hits the spot! Red Temper is also good. It’s the perfect amount of spicy.

  To play for the Minnesota Vikings.

  In the summer my favorite thing to do is go swimming and in the winter I love to snowboard.

  Probably to be a veterinarian.

  I grew up on a dairy farm and fell in love with the Holstein cow at a young age. Met the love of my life showing cows.
  These days, taking milk and making it into cheese gives me a big thrill.
  Creating and making food is my love language.

  St. Anthony. I like the dry, nutty parm-like flavor and texture. It has a great story and our first award winning cheese at Redhead Creamery

  The Moo Booth, especially when Ayrshires or Jer-Lindy Holsteins are the Showcase Herd.

  Fashion icon. It didn't really work out.

• Tell us about yourself… 
  I grew up on a hog farm in Madison MN. I miss the farm but thankful for the opportunity to learn, work hard and have fun! As a child I wanted to be either a farmer or a nurse.Lee and i have lived in sauk Centre for almost 34 years. I enjoy spending time with kids and grandkids, family and friends, and helping people.
  My favorite RHC cheese is Lucky Linda and curds!

  I am bilingual. I’ve been working for the past 5 years at the creamery and farm. Currently, I am a pre-med and Spanish major at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
• What job did you want as a kid?
  My dream has been to pursue a career in medicine, and thankfully, I am actively working toward that goal.
• Who is your favorite cow off all time?
  A cherished memory working at the farm involves Atlanta, a beautiful friendly red and white Holstein, my all-time favorite cow, who sadly passed away on the farm.

  When it comes to RHC cheese, my definite favorite is Red temper for its smooth and spicy flavor!

  I was born and raised in Sauk Centre. I studied Chemistry and Politics  at UND and then spent the rest of my 20s in Hawaii training in restaurants and developing fusion-based cuisine

  I bring a blend of cultural influences with me to aid in the development of rural communities

  Cliffside restaurant on Kauai, eating hand pressed ravioli with freshly grated parmesan

• A Meal that I remember was when I was dating and we went to a restaurant in the Twin Cities and I had French onion soup for the first time, and it was covered with a thick layer of Stringy mozzarella cheese, and I fell in love with the girl and the cheese.
• Favorite Cows: I have two favorite cows in my career, Curly and Atlanta. Curly was probably one of the most influential cows we’ve ever had as many cows in our herd trace back to her. She was a great type and production cow. Atlanta has come as close to embodying the goals I have in breeding dairy cows as any cow, we have owned. Plus, she had a great personality.

• Tell us about yourself: Aside from the cows, I am a big CrossFit enthusiast and a big book worm. I usually read 4-5 books a month.
• Real Cheese?
  Probably when I was living in Tokyo! I don’t remember much cheese from there, but lots of fun ice cream. Milk was tough to like because it’s pasteurized at different temperatures depending on the brand, so you had to find the one you liked.
• Favorite Cow?
  Clementine! A cow of my own. I fell in love with her as a calf. She was friendly and a nice looking dairy calf that I knew would be special. Jerry, Linda, Alise & Lucas surprised me with transferring ownership to me as a birthday/work anniversary gift.
• Favorite RHC Cheese: Red Temper! I like how it melts and adds a good kick to burgers or mac ‘n cheese.

• Tell us about yourself…
  I was put on this earth to remember and later share mostly useless-but occasionally beneficial-dairy, agriculture, and alcohol knowledge with the world. I spend my daytime hours working for about 1,000 dairy farms across the midwest, helping do a dance of encouraging them to continue improvements in every aspect of their farm, while also explaining to government types that they are truly doing the best that they can. I love my wife and my kids, and whiskey washed munster. All these things keep me going. I try to continue having fun while working hard. Amen.
• Where were you and what were you doing when you first ate non-american processed cheese?
  Likely at a family gathering that included an expansive Swedish smorgas with generic brie and some pepper jelly on top.

  My favorite meal of all time would be beef jerky and cream soda if I'm on the road. In a sitdown situation, asparagus, scallops, a side of filet mignon wrapped in bacon and a dessert that has some combination of peanut butter and ice cream.

  I become very nostalgic in the photography section of the 4H building. It’s the only place I ever succeeded in life.
